Memorial to GULAG Victims to Be Erected in Astana

A new memorial dedicated to the victims of the GULAG will be installed in Astana. The monument will be part of a national complex that includes a museum, an archive center, and an educational platform. The project has already been approved by the government and is scheduled to open in 2026.
